Types of marine HVAC systems:
- •Centralised chilled water system
- •The most common on medium-large ships (chiller + hydronic network)
- •DX systems (direct expansion)
- •More common on yachts or small vessels
- •Variable air volume systems (VAV/CAV)
- •Dedicated systems for critical areas (server rooms, onboard hospitals, galleys)
